With a full package of bacon, cut the strips in half with a kitchen shears.
Now, weave size slices together like a basket to make a square.
Put in the oven on a wire rack and cookie sheet at 400 for about 20 minutes. Fat drips off. No splattery mess!
Now you have a nice tidy square that stays on the sandwhich and there's bacon in every bite.
(mine has avocado in place of tomato since I don't like tomatoes)
